We’re extremely excited to announce that Creative United will provide expert business advice to 25 cultural organisations across England, as part of a new Change Creation Programme established by People Make It Work - an Organisation Development Consultancy recently awarded £479,070 from Arts Council England as part of ACE’s Building Resilience programme.
People Make It Work’s Change Creation Programme, which begins in February 2017 and runs in to 2019, will work with Creative United to ensure organisations develop the resources, insights, space and community necessary to create change in their organisations, and inspire and propagate change in the wider ecology. A core proposition is that leaders will develop the portfolio of change initiatives together, learning from each one and each other.
Creative United’s Chief Executive Mary Alice-Stack welcomed the news, commenting: “We are delighted to be part of this consortium to play our part in delivering this ‘change creation’ programme to enable arts and cultural organisations across the country to build their resilience. Working closely with the programme’s partners and experts, we will provide sector specific one-to-one business support and access to our lender partner network which will enrich the beneficiaries’ development journeys.”
“We look forward to seeing the difference this programme will make to the sector, both in terms of realising organisational sustainability, and mapping out the pathways across the other Building Resilience initiatives and our own Prosper programme.”
