Ellen is freelance business strategist, researcher, coach and facilitator working in the creative and cultural industries.  She specialises in business model design, organisational development and access to finance and draws on a unique blend of experience from the private, public and third sectors spanning over 15 years.  She previously worked as Head of Curricula for School for Startups, Head of Business Development at Cockpit Arts, Creative Industries Manager at The Prince’s Trust, Development Assistant Officer at Arts Council England and at Andersens management consultancy.  She holds board positions for This is Not a Gateway, a not for profit promoting new thinking in urbanism, and Ladies Who L-Earn, a charity that supports young women from East London to build their creative and social capital.  Ellen is a SFEDI accredited coach,  Fellow of the RSA and Clore Leadership Fellow and she completed her Clore Fellowship secondment with the CIF team in 2015.
